I, for one, am glad to welcome you to the blogosphere! We have so many embarrassing names for things here!

Also, I would just throw in that...

A) we are all naive
B) nothing we say is utterly defensible
C) sometimes a false statement can say more than a true one. The "true" statement's qualifications can obscure the kernel of truth that the false one lay on the table unadorned.

That's my opinion anyway. But I also enjoy the challenge of backing up unqualified statements post-hoc. So, take me with a grain of salt.

Where'd the banner picture come from? That the headlights are pointing towards me feels a bit provocative in a mostly good sort of way. That there is only one car in the tunnel feels lonely.

What a joy to share. Blessings on it. May we all step into ourselves and know ourselves as lovely and whole and growing.

Speaking on behalf of the entire world, we're glad that you're choosing to share your thoughts with us, even thought they may not be as refined as you'd like and even if you end up changing your mind about some of the things that you say. Thanks...

By the way, did you hear [this week's *This I Believe*](http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4837776)?
It was about a guy who has trouble taking a stand on things. One of the better ones that I've heard to tell the truth.
